Terms and Conditions
Please carefully read these studio terms and guidelines to prevent additional charges and to ensure a safe and respectful environment for all creators.
- Smoking is strictly prohibited, except with the express consent of studio representatives for projects involving smoke.
- Any service involving alcoholic beverages must be approved in advance.
- Any broken or missing items or a messy studio will result in additional fees. Please report any damage or incidents immediately to avoid extra charges.
- Please be mindful of neighboring creative studios by keeping the door closed while working in the studio and avoiding loud music. Live music bands also require prior approval.
Additional Time
- Please allow enough time for setup and breakdown. If you need to extend your booking for an additional hour, please check with our staff for studio availability first. Unauthorized extensions will result in an extra fee. Anything over 10 minutes in the next hour is considered an additional hour.
Equipment use
- Ensure that all knobs on lights and stands are tight, use sandbags for all stands, and keep beverages away from equipment and backdrops. After using equipment, please turn it off, unplug it, and return it to its original state. Please avoid leaving the light with a bare bulb, as they are easily breakable.
Background
- Each booking includes one paper backdrop use, additional pull is $20. You don’t need to cut paper backdrops after use; our team will handle that for you. To set up a backdrop, use two stands and a bar, making sure to secure the paper backdrop to prevent it from rolling out. Do not attempt to change paper backdrops on the Varipole system unless you are familiar with the process. Contact us if you have questions or need assistance. Fees will apply in case of damage to the paper backdrop or backdrop system.
Leaving The Studio
- Please leave the studio in the same condition as you found it:
- Pull up backdrops (or store fabric backdrops as found)
- Unplug studio equipment and return it to its original state
- Turn off lights/AC/heater
- Close windows and lock the door.
Cancellations
- To receive a full refund of your initial payment, you must cancel your booking at least 5 days before the scheduled date. If you cancel your booking within 5 days of the scheduled date, you will receive a 50% refund, or you may reschedule once. However, if you cancel less than 24 hours before the scheduled booking date and time, there will be no option for a refund. Refunds will be issued to the credit card used for the original booking, with a 4% processing fee applied for cancellations.
Surveillance Cameras
- We have surveillance cameras in the studio that are occasionally reviewed for security and dispute resolution.
Lost & Found
- We retain any items left in the studio for 5 days. If you do not reach out within that time frame, the items will likely be discarded. For any questions or assistance, contact us via email at: welcome@skybluephotostudio.com.
